Single-cup coffee makers have become dominate in todays society. Over one third of Americans own one. Its popularity has grown steadily for years, according to the National Coffee Association, a market research firm. While the machines certainly prove convenient, there is a trade-off. We are ending up with billions of used coffee capsules in landfills.
