✨ Our story
We Made the Ritual Reusable.
Better for the environment, better for your wallet, and just as delicious.
MyCap was born from the frustration of tossing out pod after pod. Today, our goal is to make reusability the new default—without compromising convenience or quality.
✨ Core values
-
More Delicious
Take one look at the crema on your first cup brewed with My-Cap, and the difference is delicious. You won’t sacrifice any aspects of your coffee.
-
More Affordable
Using My-Cap to refill single-use coffee pods doesn’t just allow customers to use their own coffee, it’s way more affordable.
-
Greener
Forget single-use plastics. My-Cap’s solutions help reduce waste, helping you get more value and more use out of your coffee pods.
2015 — The Idea Is Born
Fed up with tossing single-use pods every day, we began experimenting in a small kitchen. The goal? Create a reusable capsule that worked just as well — without the waste.
2017 — First Prototype Launched
After dozens of prototypes and tests, our first official MyCap capsule launched. It was simple, effective, and compatible with popular machines — and customers loved it.
2020 — 100K+ Foils Sold
By 2020, over 100,000 reusable capsules had been sold. With every cup brewed, our community helped keep millions of pods out of landfills — one small switch, huge impact.
2024 — Subscriptions & Filters Launch
To make reusability even easier, we introduced auto-ship subscriptions and premium filters. Brewing better became completely effortless for thousands of households.
Thoughtfully Designed
Our team of engineers and coffee nerds obsess over every detail—from capsule threading to filtration systems. We prototype, test, iterate, and test again—so every capsule fits like it should and lasts brew after brew.

“My family uses these all the time.”
My family uses these all the time! We are very picky about our coffee and only like certain roasts/brands. This allows us to use whatever coffee we want in the Nespresso.
-
“These foil caps work beautifully.”
These foil caps work beautifully! I now order the refills by the hundred, so as to ensure that I don’t run out. The cost savings is monumental compared to the cost of the original pods. Whereas I was previously spending over $50/ month on our morning coffee, I am now spending well under $15/ month!

“This is my fourth reorder for the My-Cap Foils to Reuse Capsules for the Nespresso VertuoLine Brewers.”
This is my fourth reorder for the My-Cap Foils to Reuse Capsules for the Nespresso VertuoLine Brewers. I highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, loves the convenience of instant espresso-like coffee, but wants to save money, doesn’t like the Nespresso coffees, and/or wants to reduce waste.

“I've been thinking about buying a new coffee machine because I missed my Death Wish coffee.”
I've been thinking about buying a new coffee machine because I missed my Death Wish coffee! As I was on Amazon looking for a new coffee maker I came across these pod covers. I didn't have too much hope for them but decided to try them anyways. I am BEYOND impressed with how well these work.

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but refilling capsules has been a game-changer.”
I don’t usually leave reviews, but refilling capsules has been a game-changer. Nespresso was costing me $1.30 per capsule (over $1,400 a year), while refilling myself comes out to just $0.36 each (about $393 a year). Super easy to do, and now I get to splurge on all the creamers and syrups I want—10/10 recommend.

“Works perfectly.”
Works perfectly. I highly recommend. Now I can have my favorite coffees with my Nespresso. They taste better with the classic Nespresso foamy richness. Great product!
