1. A My-Cap exclusive, our reusable silicone cap is used on a pod for an immediate cup of coffee. Add an included filter under the cap to prevent coffee grounds from entering the brew, and the result is an exceptional cup of coffee, crema or espresso.
2. Another My-Cap exclusive, the grey reusable plastic cap works the same way as the reusable silicone caps, but is only compatible with the Vertuo by Breville Brewer and the Vertuo Evoluo Brewer. It is not recommended for machines with an automatic closing mechanism.
3. My-Cap’s reusable silicone lids are great for preparing pods in advance. This air-tight lid keeps coffee grounds fresh and ready for use for 7-14 days. Add a filter, cap and lid, then remove the lid and place the pod in the machine when ready to begin brewing.
4. Save money by easily creating your own coffee pods with My-Cap foils. Simply adhere a My-Cap foil to the top of a pod, gently press the foil along the edges and the pod is ready to use. A: If you are careful with it, indefinitely.

Q: What products are required for refilling a capsule for brewing, and storing filled capsules for later use?
A: For brewing, all you need is a silicone cap. The use of a filter depends on personal preference. For storing refilled capsules and maintaining freshness, you need a silicone lid to place on the refilled capsule.

Q: Is the filter required?
A: Filters may be used with the silicone cap. The use of the filters is a personal preference. Some find the filter is beneficial in reducing coffee particulates and others see no difference in using just the silicone cap without a filter. The filter is not required for the foil solution.

Q: Does this product contain BPA?
A: This product is food grade silicone and does not contain BPA and is also free of BPS, PVC, lead, latex, phthalates, nitrosamines, formaldehyde, and other toxins found in petroleum-based plastics.

Q: What type of coffee should I use?
A: Always use a fresh, high-quality coffee, preferably espresso grind. The crema and strength will vary depending on the type used
